View Full Version : Baby Bat in Conneticut.

A friend found a baby bat in her yard earlier today. I'm in Fl so I can't help. Anyone know of any safe rehabbers in that area? Also, any one have any advice? I haven't rehabbed a bat before. She has him in a plastic box with an old tshirt in a dark quiet room. She said he drank some water from a small cap she put in there (no syringe). I'm at work so I'm trying to do this in between calls. Please help! (attached a photo of when she first found him)

You say that you're in FL so can't help. Should we take that to mean that your friend is elsewhere? Where is she?

Wanda now has the bat :) His wing is not broken :wahoo but she said he was acting funny so she is going to take him in and update my friend in a few days! :Love_Icon
