I like the free Google Picasa. It resizes pics and you get lots of goodies to play with for free.

CSL, this is an ancient laptop...
I think Picassa is overkill, too large and wioll be slow..
I have tried to download free image resizers from the net, but I am so not PC savy, they are not working
OR
I don't know what to do..
On my regular PC that is being overhauled as I type, I right click and there it is, RESIZE...
this is not an option after I download..I must be doing something wrong...
so I uninstall them when they are not working for me..
I am sooo lost and cannot post pics...:soapbox
any ideas what I am doing wrong ?
or a GOOD download link:poke
:thinking :dono

I got a Toshiba laptop last fall at Best Buy for $169. It's got the latest windows 8 on it.

cheap and a little workhorse computer. can't beat it for the money.

I am not very good with computers, as I have been isolated in the land of dialup for 20 years. I'm not even sure how to download stuff since I have never gotten to do it until I got wifi for christmas.

how about Farelli? He knows how to fix all this crap. i would ask him. he will know what to do for you! good luck

This one looks good and is safe, pretty basic, and small:

Let me know if it doesn't work for you. I don't really use it though because I generally do image work on a Mac.

I just go to the photo in my documents, right click and select open with Paint (every computer has paint) . When it opens, click the resize tab and adjust to 45%). click save. It will ask you if you want to replace current picture, click yes. Now you can upload that pic right from the program they were stored in.
