IS THIS A NEW FORM OF HAIR LOSS OR MANGE????

One of my Eastern Gray girls that I released last Thanksgiving, has developed over the past 7 days a facial hair loss pattern that is intriguing. She has not completely lost the hair but it seems to have a short nap in the area shown on the pictures.

Is this a possible beginning of Mange? Just in case I gave her a grain or rice Invermectin just to cover all bases. If it is not mange, can it be molting?

I have Trooper my NR indoors and when he changed coats he did not go through this pattern. Your comments will be appreciated.

Phew!!! thank you guys for the replies and reassurance. When I didn't see the typical pink/gray skin I was pretty sure it wasn't mange, but I am no expert, so tot he forum I came.

Thank you for resizing my pics too! Yes she and her twin sister are so alike that I used to paint her little hind pinkie nail with red polish to distinguish them from each other. Since her sister has not lost her coat yet I can relax on the nail painting.

Definitely moulting the winter coat. I've had a lot of mange cases and this ain't it. She does look quite happy with your generous walnut donations.:D
