I went for a stroll thru the marsh yesterday. We recently had a lot of rain, and the water has just started receeding. I picked up a few twirly snail shells and clam shells. Can I give these to my Squidsy to knaw on? Or, are they too sharp/brittle ?

If the snail shells are nice and thick (escargot or nautilus type) they are fine, along with the clam shells. (I live on the water and often give my squirrels clam and oyster shells to chew.) If they are the garden variety striped snail shells, those might be too sharp and fragile.

These came from a river bayou... not salt water. Some are kinda brittle. Maybe I will hold off until I have some thicker ones...(good excuse to book that Florida trip) I wouldnt want to do anything that could hurt her. :thankyou
