So Rocket is happy and healthy and still comes by everyday for a snack. I live in small beach community of about 450 people. Rockets story is pretty well known here, people love him.

They were harvesting coconuts today and two babies fell out of the tree, one got eaten by a cat but they were able to save the second. And brought him to me.

Meet (something clever). IR says hes about 4-4.5 weeks old. Eyes aren't open yet. Looks healthy, super thirsty and trying to figure out what to feed him.

Chase,
I will send Fox Valley and supplies..tomorrow.Today is a holiday and all PO are closed.
Warm, quiet, dark, and heat (on one side) Call me with any questions.
Pedialyte only for 24 hours to hydrate. If needed after that---remove the salt from the mix.
The F.V. will not arrive before Monday. Look in local Vet for "Lactol" puppy milk replacement. and use that until the FV arrives. Rama Rota used it for 2 months and he did well on it.
-------------Another C.R. beautiful squirrel....

IR...
No goats milk available anywhere near where Chase lives...
Is there a formula that doesn't require Goats Milk, that he can use for a few days.????

Chase, how is he eating. You told me he took 5 cc of the new formula ( Lactovo ) The Fox Valley might be there by Tuesday. I hope. It went out Friday. Fleece, 3 cc & 1 cc syringes, nipples, and a cipro tablet, just in case. If he aspirates-bad- and gets pneumonia, you will have the meds to save him.
You must stimulate after each feeding to get pee & poop. If no poop for over 36 hours..contact TSB - EMERGENCY forum for help in correcting that. Check his bedding also. Poops can be found there.
Please update with weight in grams, eating history, and photos.

NO-- blinkin --WAY...Claro & Oscuro the Brothers live together...
But all my other 4 have seperate cages and seperate PLAY time in the TREE ROOM-no interaction. I've seen Rama & Cruiser in "attack mode" and I won't take any chances with my other squees.

WHAT happened ???
Can you figure what it was? ? Was it sudden ? Shall I post a notice on your thread
I'm so sorry, I'd hoped to watch you raise a little one...it's so different-and you get S0000 attached-when they are small and dependant totally on your love & care.
Little dude is pain free now...and running thru the trees....
Thanks for trying and caring.

Here is the reply from Chase ( Gonzotron)
Stosh, the story. Please excuse my grammar and spelling. Just thinking about this makes me upset. You can share it on TSB if you like but I dont have the heart right now. I am tearing up as i wright this.
I got Rocket when he was on solid food, built a cage and when he was mature enough let him go. He comes around everyday and you can pretty much call him when you put his food out he will come. He was easy. I didnt expect having a baby. My town is small and people know Rocket. Then someone shows up to my door with a baby, i had not named it yet. For two days I searched every vet in the area for Lactol, finally found Lactovo. I fed him teh pedilyte mix and sugar water for those two days. Everything was good for a couple of days but then he started to get lethargic. I brought him to work and home to make sure he was getting nutrients. I fed him at noon and by his next feeding at 4 he had passed. I dont know what I did wrong. I don't know what I could have done. None of the vets here had anything. Buried him next to Ole'B, our dog that passed away last year from old age. His name is Little Guy now. I am heart broken and miss him already.
