No they cannot see clearly at first. I think I read somewhere it takes like 3-5 days or something for their eyes to become fully operational.

I had one of my babiy girls open her eye a couple hours ago and i just had her brother open one eye too (': what a great moment!!!!

You may also notice that when you go to feed or pick up that they will growl and get scared. They aren't used to seeing and some of them seem startled by shadows and what nots. I always make it a point of saying something before I put my hand in the container to get them, they won't be so startled.
