Hello,
I have a flyer and I have been viewing calcium to phosphorous ratio charts. I know the ideal ratio is supposed to be 2:1 calcium to phosphorous. My question is: does this mean every food item you put on the plate is 2:1?
How do I ensure my flyer is getting enough protein? I have been giving her one Henry's healthy flyer block nightly and then some freeze dried chicken from the pet store. Thanks!

Have you read the forums on:

I trust your answers can be found in the sections on
Protein: - Calcium: :thumbsup
The 2:1 is recommended. It really can't be applied to all foods, as that would almost be impossible.
Think of the 2:1 as an over-all ratio, a total of several foods of different ratios.
We feed mainly mealworms and waxworms for protein, and they are dusted with calcium powder before offering.
You might consider dusting the chicken with it.
Doesn't take very much.
