I have 2, 4-5 week old grey squirrels. I have just recently changed them over from Esbilac to Fox Vally. I'm slowly trying to get them to full strength. I've just began noticing that the little girl won't eat & will only take a little hydration formula. She has began to have very watery, yellow stools. I have also noticed a little clicking when she breaths. I believe she may have pneumonia. How can I get meds for her?

SC is not a kill state.. I suggest a vet visit...
I am going to look in my directory for a vet close to you...brb.
We also have several members in SC that may share meds or vet info... ideally you would want baytril{pet med} or ciprofloxacin {human med}
ask friends and family what antibiotics they have on hand that are NOT expired...
how is her breathing? is she clicking with every breath?
edit....I do have a vet listed in aiken... PM me if you need the address etc.

Her breathing doesn't seem too bad yet. Yes, the clicking does seem to be with each breath.

esbilac alone or the change of formula can affect their stool... diarrhea can be from that.. however it can also be caused by parasites or stress.
when you do have loose poops, best to push hydration...weak dilute formula and or pedialyte, I like home made myself... never feed pedi for more than 24 hours as the salt is counter productive after that.
