Hi everyone,

Yesterday I noticed that A LOT of the wild backyard greys ( they looked mostly to be younger squirrels) were chasing each other like mad. I believe that some were males chasing a female. They were even making these weird oink like noises. Were those noises they were making a mating call?? They seemed kind of young though. They were not fighting, just chasing each other like crazy for hours straight! Is this normal, is it the season?

Guarantee they were chasing a little female.
And they do make that grunting noise....and it lasts for hours.
It's only for one day, so unless there is another female in heat, I doubt
you will see it today....:D

oooooh, ok, that makes A LOT of sense now! :). Yes, there was a particular female that was being chased. She kept on trying to get away from these couple squirrels. I did notice that after she left, they were sniffing every area where she had been! Lol.
