nfernal.dragonz_fire_bug: sorry im tryin to post my problem on this post board but i cant seem to get the page to allow me to post one i am in bad need of help i have 2 sick baby squirls and as time goes they are gettin weaker i dont know what to do

infernal.dragonz_fire_bug: i have been givin them pedilite 1/2 every 3 hrs and half of serenge of kitten formula ok i found out not to use the kitten stuff and keep them formula free for 24 hrs and justy give them pedilite all nite every 2 hrs

'morning everybody...Thundersquirrel and I gave the lady with the squirrel babies TONS of info and advice last night thru both the Board and her private email. We did not hear back from her but waited until after midnight, then both of us packed it in for the day. I'm hoping to hear something from this person ASAP, and maybe find her a rehabber too. She said her game warden told her there were no rehabbers around, but hey, we've heard that before. :D :peace

This happens a lot, Bob....someone posts an urgent emergency and then disappears. In some cases the animal dies and the person doesn't want to talk about it anymore. In other cases they follow the path of least resistance -- whoever tells them the "easiest" solution, that's the one they will follow. For example, if TSB tells you to run out and buy Esbilac for $20, but that "other rehabber" tells you it's OK to use scalded milk and egg yolk, which you have in your fridge, which one's easier? I only hope they get back to me sometime today.....I've tried every avenue of communication available.

Update for everyone: I spoke for an hour with this very nice lady (finally!) and although she unfortunately lost the little male squirrel, her female is alive and feisty. This poor lady got so much bad and conflicting advice before she found us last night -- it drives home to me more than ever why WE NEED THE SQUIRREL BOARD! :rantonof
Anyway I think we've got her straightened out and the baby is now on the right feeding schedule with the right amounts. This person truly wants to take care of her squirrel properly and I told her we are all here to help. :peace

hahaha IR and i should have a sitcom together.....fighting for squirrels while dealing with each others quirky differences yet remaining friends.

mmmm i think it'll get at least one season in. maybe we could add a twist.....for example, we let the squirrels run free in the house. :D nothing like fuzzers to bring up ratings.
