Lil bit- isn't gaining weight and he has been on AB since saturday and is still crackling when he breathes. His poops and pees are fine though. He is very active. At the house here I have boost and was wondering if I should supplement with it for weight gain? Oh and he has been eating 1.25 cc per feeding.
his weight on saturday was 16g. monday 18g and today 19g
Mo- started AB on sunday. still crackling too. also everytime he eats, he looks really bloated. I'm feeding him only 7% of his body weight. he is still hungry and chirps at me when I am done feeding him but because of how his tummy looks, i won't feed him more. Now he is not bloated before eating. but again poop, pee is fine. energetic no other issue. he is gaining weight fine but that bloat and breathing worry me.
weight saturday 17g monday 21g today 26g
Curly-started AB sunday. He is doing great. He is crazy active. Eats almost 3cc every feeding. This big guy is thriving.
weight saturday 26g monday 30g and today 36g
I am including a pic of them. lil bit is on the bottom, mo is on the left and curly on the right. Sorry for quality but it was taken on my cell. Curly's fur is coming in great. He is so much darker than his brothers. I just can't believe the difference in size.
Please any advice is appreciated. I know they are acting fine but I have learned they turn quick and with these issues going on, I don't want to wait to ask advice. O they are now 3 1/2weeks old. I have had them 15 days.

Breaz...please Pm me the AB info and I will recheck the dosing etc...
I will need new weights in grams as well.
They should NOT be still clicking, something is askew with the medication. They must be kept warm and fed everything warm.
I am sorry you are having problems, let's get these babies back on track:grouphug

Are you feeding FV? maybe with Little Bit add a touch of yogurt to his formula? AB's kill beneficial bacterial in tender tummies... yogurt will add beneficial bacteria back. Is he dehydrated? that could also cause bloated bellies.
When my "runt of the litter" Whiskers was doing poorly as a pinky she had a very difficult time from her finding at 1-2 days old to about her second week. She would dehydrate very easily in a matter of an hour or two, had problems with bloating, and didn't gain weight well. I added a little yogurt to the formula, (3 parts formula 1 part yogurt) and it helped her quite a bit in her digestion. I also gave her .5 cc of plain water before feeding her the 1 cc's of formula. Once I started doing that she did better with the dehydration issues.

Jackit- i pm'd you
Yes I'm feeding FV and have been adding yogurt to lil bit's diet and still not gaining weight. None of the boys are dehydrated. We finally got that under control. I was asking about the bloat because like I said, it's only after Mo eats and i'm not overfeeding him. It goes away before the next feeding and then I feed him and it's back. Nothing like the bloat I was dealing with the other day on my little one.

I pm'd you back. Also is it "normal" that the two smaller boys are so much lighter in color than curly? you notice in the pic how light lil bit is but even mo looks like that. I know curly's fur is coming in alot quicker than the others but i looked at their undersides where they have no fur yet and their skin is not at pink as curly's and they have been that way for two days. As I said before, they have ALOT of energy but I worry. I wish they could talk and tell me what's wrong. I want to do whatever I can for these boys. They are the sweetest, cuddly little guys.

squirrelsareme told me they don't expire for a while. I don't know. Maybe I waited too long to start the meds?
