UPDATED INFO:


We have confirmation of the new VPS and have formally made the request to transfer the data from the old system to the new. But due to high volume (and short staff) they say it will be between now and 72hrs before the transfer can be made. The tech said that they are so backed up that it may very well go over the 72 hour time frame.

Peeps, our options were to take the board down now and wait until they notify us of completion, or to leave it up and risk the loss of some NEW threads/posts. We didn’t think the option of a 3 day downtime is agreeable with ANYONE, so our decision is to leave it up and risk the loss of the NEW threads.

If you're posting something truly important that you'd want to be on the Board forever, save a copy of it somewhere. Just in case. :):peace:)
