thank you for caring and welcome!
It needs antibiotics asap b/c cat salive is deadly.
Can you get baytril - any friends with animals, pets or a vet who will give you meds without seizing and euthanizing the squirrel?
Human version of baytril is ciproflaxin (or smth like that) - ask friends people around.
Other possible meds amoxicillin, bactrim (SMZ-TMP).
For now - keep him somewhere dark, warm and quiet.
If possible, get a weight on him and post it - people will help you dose the meds if you find them, but in order to dose they will need his weight.

Where are you located (general area)? We may have someone or someplace that can help....

the unresponsiveness might be due to shock, and/or other injuries.
But antibiotics are of dire importance at this point.
Please keep checking here often - experienced people will be helping you along.
If you can't find the abs I posted, see what abs you can find and post it here - experts will be able to let you know whether they can be used or not, and how to dose it.
Post its name, form (pill, tablet etc) and strength.
Also, if you could give us your state and area in that state, there might be people nearby who could help you.

Thank you for helping him/her.
Probably scared out of it's mind, in pain, and shock.
Warm, dark and quiet. No TV's, kids, animals, radios. Blankets/fleece for him/her to burrow down into to feel safe and hide.
Make sure whatever container it's in has a lid that can be secured. Hopefully it's semi-shew proof too.
You may offer a shallow dish of water (lid to a glass jar with a couple clean rocks to prevent flipping is good)
Meds: like Astra said, cat saliva is deadly to squirrels. It needs medication, the sooner the better.
Do you or any of the your friends, family or close neighbors have pets? If so, call all of them and ask if they have any left over medications. You are looking for Baytril. If no one has animals, ask if they have any Cipro (human antibiotic)...you only need 1 pill.
Meds are dosed by weight, so we're gonna need you to weigh the squirrel...in grams if possible. If not, just get a weight and we'll do the conversion.
Can you give us a general idea of where you are located? County and state? We may have a member close to you that has everything you need.
