The young male that comes around was throwing himself at the glass door today very hard. Out of the 10-15 squirrels that come here, none show that behavior. He's always been a little different than the others and I've often wondered if he was orphaned when he was still to young. He is also the only one with a blacker face, there is one other, a female with a dark face so they may be siblings.
When I first moved in there was a fox/black squirrel was coming around everyday to the front and back yard. she disappeared in early Nov.
Are the fox's and blacks more aggressive?
Was he just never taught to get food on his own?
He seems very desperate for food at times. He's very thin and his head looks too big for his body. I don't know if that's because he's part fox or not.
Here are just some pics:

Until I started feeding the others, these were the only 2 that came in the back yard.

one note, the fox that was here was very aggressive towards all the greys.
