I noticed today that Hiccup had a little bit of diarrhea. It's not completely liquid there are still some solids it's just that they are soft. Can anyone tell me the most common things that give squirrels diarrhea and what I can do to help him get rid of it?

Lettuce, cabbage, carrots, mango, cherries, chayote squash, pear, red bell pepper, peanut stix, HHBs and a cracker. I just recently gave him mango for the first time, could that be causing it?

Mango might be what caused it if it is a new food. Less fruit is better.:grouphug

The first time I gave my squirrel mango he got a diarrhoea. It's pretty much the colour of the mango if that's what is causing it. If the mango is causing it, feeding what he is accustomed to will put him right.

It's not the color of the mango, it's normal color just runnier. Should I need feed him any fruit for a few days to see if it clears up?

I would eliminate the mango and just cut back on how much other fruit he has.

When I give Ellie Mango she gets 1 very small piece...like maybe the size of a seedless grape. And she gets 1 grape and 1 other small piece of fruit a day...that's it...the rest is veggies and of course her blocks. Daddy gives her a nut treat when he gets home from work.
