I was wondering if anyone had even tried tahini as a method of flavoring a mixture to entice a squirrel to eat. It is a paste of sesame seeds and I thought it might be something to add to food when a squirrel is not eating. Any thoughts? I actually ground sunflower seeds (no shells) and added them to a boo-ball type mix for Sammy when he was being difficult.

Not sure, but it should be ok if there is no alcohol in it (like soy sauce & other condiments sometimes have). If Sammy doesn't like it you can send the rest to me - I LOVE tahini. :D

I was actually thinking of Ivy:Love_Icon . I thought the taste might be something to spark her appetite. :dono Didn't want to post it in her thread before checking and start any confusion though.
