Hi all,
I have found a squirrel by the side of the road today. I do not know what to do. I took him to the vet, but here in London UK, grey squirrels are seen as vermin and put down if given to most vets. There is no sign of bleeding anywhere, and seems capable of movement, however, it is erratic. He goes around in circles and then suddenly stops, and goes all limp. When I picked him up he wouldn't leave my coat, i imagine cos it was warm. it would fiddle and faff, run around in circles, but return to bury itself inside. I think it's got chances of surviving.
Do you have any contacts in London? Also, it's NYE today, not ideal timing to find suitable care.
At the moment it's in a box with woollen things and some broken nuts and water.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
marta
