Hi. Jerome's Daddy finally checking in!

Hi folks,

been lurking on and off for a while. I'm the husband of Scooterzmom and help her with much of the rehabilitation.... building release cages & nests, feeding the kids and cleaning their cages (sometimes). But recently I fell for an unreleasable little black guy named Jerome. He fell and injured his back and the well meaning people who tended him almost killed him with a diet of cows milk and nuts! He might have developed metabolic bone disease to boot.

Finally they contacted a friend of ours to nurse him back to health but he remains small tho lively now. She couldn't keep him with all her re-haber's so I said I'll look after him. Such a joy he is. Always ready for wrestling any time of day and quite the character too. Didn't think I'd get so attached to a fuzzball but I was wrong.

Anyway, I'll be popping in now and then so thought I'd say a few words.

I fell in love with your little Jerome too. How can you not.:dono
My husband also loves our squirrels, but I raise and release as most
of us do. However, one little red named Jeffrey, ended up staying, and he stole both our hearts.
Watch out, Jerome will take yours completely, and you will be owned by a little one and a half pound dynamo, but it's oh so fun!

I think hubby meant -15C, IR.... which is +5F. Not exactly bathing suit temps but at least not quite as cold :D We id go down this week to -10F though. NOT fun.

Our little black baby is quite the pistol alright and yes, we both love him to death. Daddy is so owned now I can't even believe it :jump
