I ordered HHBs on Thursday. They arrived today. My two babies have not eaten much over last couple of days. They wanted nuts and acorns and I wanted them to eat blocks and veggies. We were all stubborn. So around sundown I open the HHBs. WOW:jump. They grabbed the HHBs from me like I had given them almonds. No food left to hide. They devoured the HHBs. I'm sold on them. They arrived quickly and the little furry ones love them! How long will they keep in the freezers? I want to stock up.:wott

I keep 3-4 bags in the freezer and the bag I am currently using in the fridge. I usually order 3-8 bags at a time (depends on how many fuzzers I'm feeding).

The day or two before my open bag is going to be gone, I move one of the bags in the freezer to the fridge.

I think the longest I've kept them in the freezer is 4 months...I'm sure they are good much longer than that. The best way to find out for sure is to contact Henry's directly and ask. They are super helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

Can someone please tell me what hba's are? I have had a pet fox squirrel for almost a year now. My grandpas dogs got and killed her mother before her ears were even open so I rescued her and have been taking care of her. I have been to many sites and researched how to care for her. She has been on solid foods for a while now but I have never heard of hhbs until I found this sight today ( nov 5th) what are they and how can I get them?

Here you go: http://www.henryspets.com/squirrel-diet/

I would suggest the adult formula. For a foxer, limit to 3 of the little cubes a day, plus all the normal veggies, etc. You can feed other blocks in addition to the HHBs if you wish, but the 3 a day will provide all of the nutrients they need - like little vitamin/blocks.

HHB stands for Henry's Healthy Blocks (I think :thinking). They can be found on that link critter mom sent :thumbsup

Please start a thread about your little foxer! We'd love to hear about her!
