I need some help please. In the last 2 weeks we have caught 5 flying squirrels in our house with live traps using peanut butter. They're cute don't get me wrong, but I do not want them in my house.. They've caused so much damage. I know in PA they are a protected species, does anyone in Bucks County PA know where to drop these little guys off at? We've blocked holes and they are still finding ways in somehow.. so relocation is what we are going to have to resort to. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Right now we are releasing them about 20 miles from our house but I read somewhere they can travel up to 30 back home, is that true? Please help!

Best to find how they are getting into your house and repair/seal off the entrance. That done just place the captured squirrels outside. Until you find the entrance you are just hanging out the vacancy sign for the next group. Flying squirrels live in colonies and taking them miles from home may result in their deaths as they try to return home.
