power cords

Does anybody know any tricks or info on keeping the little guy's from chewing on power cords, Jethro chewed the end of my fan off, it was not plugged in, and I was hoping someone might have a remedy for me other than just keeping him away from them

I run anything that is going to be exposed to squirrel through PVC.
