Hi everyone! I just have a question, Hammie is not fond of drinking water. He is on metacam, Baytril and SMZ. I know he needs to be hydrated. The metacam especially.. He loves the flavor of the metacam (honey). To make water more appealing would it be safe to add a drop of honey to his water? Or some other type of flavoring if so what might I be able to use that is safe? He is on FV formula, some solid foods (veggies) and Henery's yogurt shake but his quantities of formula vary depending on what his preferences are for that day.:dono :Love_Icon :)

The concern with honey is that it *can* carry salmonella. Have you tried adding a bit of clear juice like apple juice to his water?

On average how much FV is he taking daily and how much water is in the "shake"?
Am I reading right that he gets BOTH FV & the shake everyday with the quantities of the FV varying?

The shake according to the Henry s vita min just calls for 2tsb protien, 1/4 tsp vitamin, and 1 to 2 tbs of yougurt or baby food. He will consume about 8 to 15ml of FV per feeding about 4 to 5 times a day.
Havent tried watermelon or juices yet to add to water because I wasnt sure what I be safe to add
