I've been doing quite a bit of research on sunflower sprouts since no one really had any answers. My little girl loves them and I give her a few each day. Just make sure they are fresh. I buy mine at Whole Foods and keep them in a stay fresh container. The kernels are almost 25% protein ... contain vitamins A, D, E, and the B complex ... provide incredible amounts of potassium ... and are high in calcium, magnesium, and iron. And, of course—since germination activates a plant's stored energy—the sprouts have fewer calories, yet more of all these vitamins and minerals than do the dry seeds!
Let them eat sprouts!!!:crazy
