I need to know what are signs of flea anemia in a squirrel and what I should do.
Never had to deal with this before.
This is for a 6month old female Gray.
She is acting sickly, doesn't feel good, lacks appetite, nasal discharge.
I am treating with Capstar and whatever I have for fleas here.
I am out of Revolution but do have some Advantage.
They are all over her and she is scratching like crazy.

I have rev if you need it.....you be around tomorrow?
I have seen it in cats and dogs , symptoms may be the same.
Loss of appetite, fur is dull , no energy. Boost or ensure would be good for added nutrition.

Gum color is important. Are they very pale?

I will check the gums when I give the capstar.
I went to go mix it but realized I have instructions for the smaller pills,
yet have the larger ones on hand.
Can someone help me figure it out?
The instructions I have are to take 1/4 of the smaller capstar (11.4mg) and dilute in 1cc of water.
I give .01 per 25 grams of body weight.
I have the 57mg (which is 5 times as strong).
I already cut it into quarters.
So if I use 1/4 of the 57mg and dilute by 5cc of water, do I get the same result???
I am soooooooo bad at this stuff. :shakehead
(I do want to make a bigger batch so I can use it to treat all my squirrels tomorrow.)

Thank you, I can get some tomorrow, just in a panic and wanted to make her feel better tonight.
I think with the Capstar it will be good until the morning.
