Paper shell pecans?

Are paper shell pecans safe? I'm sure they are I just don't want to mess up. What about white oak acorns?

my sqs love paper shells...hoot hoot!!
are the wilds eating the acorns? I have never heard anything about specific acorns that would say they weren't safe..
no moldy ones of course!

I haven't seen the wilds eating them but what I read is that they choose red oak first bc they have more fat content. So I'm assuming they are safe just not wilds best choice.
