hi, i found a chipmunk who was injured in a mouse trap, its been three weeks, ive been nursind him back to health. he has made a full recovery, except, i think he is blind in one eye. when i go up to the cage on the blind side he just sits ther when i make a noise, he jumps. i would like to release him into the wild, but am worried if he can survive out there, with one eye. i dont want to release him, if he is going to get killed. what to do? i live in a subdivision multiple houses and i believe he came from the rocks in my backyard, winter is coming but its still about 6 degrees above 0. any suggestions??? hes doing acrobats in the cage i have him in, and he wasnt a baby, so i dont want to cruelly confine him, but i also dont want to deliver him to his death, please help
