Storing Acorns

Hello all I have been a ghost I know (blame vet school haha) I came across I believe what was a great deal and got 15lbs of acorns for 9 dollars and I wanted to know if I could store some and how long would they stay fresh....I know I have to many acorns lol but with a deal like that how could I resist I only have one grey and 3 flyers lol

I did the float test then put the "sinkers" in a paper towel to dry and then parceled them into bags and into the freezer.
By the way...Sammy read this and wanted me to tell you that there are NEVER too any acorns!!!:D
