I have a fox squirrel named Pandora ( "Dora" ) and I'm worried about her food intake... She is a free roaming squirrel in our house and seems to get very depressed and frantic when liked in her cage, she doesn destroy much so we leave her out. However her cage is always open and she goes in there to drink her water and eat nuts , this is also were her food is but se never seems to eat it, instead she just begs off us or pilfera our food when we're not looking, the other day she stole spegetti-o's out of my bowl while I was getting a drink of water. The only thing we allow her to eat from us is fresh fruits and veggies but I'm afraid that isn't enough. She also gets a variety of peanuts as a treats. Does anyone have any advice? Also, I noticed she likes fruit juice, is that alright to feed her?

she won't eat anything but what she wants if u let her. look up the sticky notes on this site to see what all she needs to be getting to eat. It may take some tough love and some keeping her in her cage to get her on the right track eating but if she just eats what she wants, it's not good for her and it will shorten her life span as well as her quality of life if she gets sick from it. there is lots of info on here of what all she should be eating, look around.
