Hiccup's weird obsession?

So, just recently, Hiccup has been displaying a weird obsession with facial features, especially eyes and ears. He licks and nibbles on then like a cracked out junkie. The ear obsession I don't really mind, all he does is lick them and nibble on them lightly. It's the eyes obsession that is my problem. He treats them the same way he does our ears. It seems like we can't do anything that involves seeing when he is out of his cage because we are constantly having to scrunch out eyes closed so he's not nibbling on our eyeballs!

Has anyone else experienced this? If so how do we "break" him of it?

Taula did this as well. I am thinking its the salt they really want. I never broke her of it but it made me very nervous when she did this to my eye's. She also liked to clean my nails:dono

That's what we think too. It makes me suuuuuper nervous because sometimes when he nibbles on our ears he will bite harder then usual and I would not like to have my eyelid pierced! We try moving him away from our face but it seems to just amp him up and makes him want them more frantically.
