Solid Foods and Growing Flyers

Loki and Electra are about 6wks now. They are slowing on their formula a bit and trying to put things in their mouths. Is it time to start to introduce solid foods? If not, at what age or weight? What are good starter foods? What are good wild foods? When should I offer extra solid protein? When should I give them the larger cage?
