Need advice

I have a couple of questions, 1) Jethro, the squirrel I have, is by my figuring is 7 weeks old, I live in the Atlanta Ga. area and we never know what kind of winter we will have till it happens, should I plan on keeping him till spring or release him in Dec. when he turns 12 weeks old. 2) I moved 50 miles away from where I found him, should I release him where I found him or release him where I am at now, I live at a culd e sac in a apt complex about 1/2 mile from any main roads and have woods directly behind my apt.

I would winter him over if at all possible, as at that time of year, he would not have any time to build a stash and may be hard for him to make a nest, as well. I am wintering over 4 this year.

I would keep him over the winter. I lived an hour out of Atlanta for a yr.... it snowed that yr and u never knew when it was going to and be warm the next week. It will still be too cold him I think.
