Are frozen vegetables okay to give to squirrels?

It's often difficult to get fresh broccoli, cauliflower, beans etc, that are locally grown and often the stuff from the grocery store is treated with hormones and preservatives, etc, and imported from other countries. (it's disturbing how much table food we import.)

Can squirrels be fed thawed frozen veggies?

yes, they can be fed frozen veggies. Sometimes I toss in just that few in the bottom of the bag-mine like them still frozen! Some of mine will also would only eat certain veggies cooked-but I frown on that and work til they eat them raw.

ok thank you,

I was reading what to feed and everyone was mentioning fresh veggies... The stores here aren't good at stocking them around here, not local stuff, and the vegetable stands aren't out for the most part right now due to the awfully weird weather we've had this summer. (our garden didn't make at all)

Although I have plenty of pears, figs, apples, grapes, and other fruits which I feed in moderation. I'll stock up on frozen goodies for them :)
