i have been transitioning my 5 1/2-6 week flyer on f.v. this week. i have been doin it extremely slow, i'm at about 1/2 &1/2 f.v. and goat milk mixture. she has been pooping find, tiny golden nuggets after she eats, but the last time that i have seen her poop was yesterday right before lunch time. she is peeing just find and her belly is some and squishy. but i can see her hunch up a little and push like she is going to poop and nothing comes out. i have been stimulating like crazy and warm bathes. i have just taken the heavy cream out of the mixture. i want to hold food till i see poop. i didn't not have apple juice, but i had a pluot (cross between plum and apricot) and apple slices. i juiced them in my juicer and mixed half and half with water and added a drop of corn syrup. I read about mineral oil, i do have this is it safe to give her a drop? her weight is 30 cc. what else can i do

I don't know about mineral oil. Maybe a little extra water to start. Pros will have more info--specially the Skuls.

Good old natural pumpkin mix (no spices) always does the trick and gets the body moving again...... :thumbsup
..... and I would try mixing the fv at a ratio of 1:3

If you give a little extra water in between and or during the feeding that will help. When you change the formulas around.
It is normal for a Baby not to pooh for 24 hr. But if she is straining, or trying to push. You might need to help a little.
Just keep an eye on her tummy. You wont it to be soft and Squishy. :thumbsup3

Extra water worked for me during transitioning. We are at 100% now and they go every time. I freaked out but they were fine.

Thanks for all the advice. She has been peeing like there's no tomorrow! And I finally got a little poop out, not much, but we're getting somewhere:) It was a little darker than normal. I have been mixing the f.v. 1 to 3 and I've given her a few cc's of apple juice in between a few feedings.:thankyou
