How do I make a pic smaller?

I am getting to know Photo bucket, it takes me a while but I finally get it. :shakehead
All the pics are so big..how do I make them smaller....and how can I put pics next to one another on one post?
Any help would be greatly appreciated for this computer illiterate??:thinking

When using photobucket choice the last option (IMG code) as the one to post on here and the pic will be the perfect size for sharing.
To make smaller (for avatar) go to edit and put in size you want pic to be.
