is it ok to feed flying squirrels the yogurt bites that are made for other rodents, just as a treat, maybe 1 a day?:thinking

I've looked at those before and they have a lot of weird ingredients that I'm not sure what they are. Generally, if I can't pronounce it, I don't want to eat it, much less give it to my pet. I personally think it's better to just feed them natural things (yogurt for calcium, pecans or pumpkin seeds for treats) and it's not really necessary to fill their system with bizarre chemicals.
But that is just my 'two cents.' I don't think those yogurt bites would kill a flyer or anything, just that there is better stuff out there to feed.

Yeah, I've thought about it before too. They look tempting but food standards for pets are not as stringent as for humans. I don't trust a lot of that stuff and I can probably find an all natural (and cheaper) alternative in the organic/natural food aisle at the grocery store. I don't know much about flyers but sugar-free dried berries or banana chips keep well and are a good treat for grey's.
