Baby with pneumonia

My baby is 8 weeks old. He has clicking when breathing and deep fast breathing. He has also slept most of the day. He is still eating like normal...all I have at the house is amoxicillin can I give him that ,,,if so how much

Hi Rusty, can you give us more history on him?
how long have you had him? how was he found?
how much does he weigh?
is he alone or does he have sibblings?
is he in a cage?
Have you seen the video on TSB with pnuemonia example?
is the clicking with every breath?
sorry for all ther questions, just trying to get as much info as possible.
are your antibiotics expired?
the preferred medicine for aspiration pnuemonia is baytril/ciprofloxacin, however the amoxy will work.
Please answer these questions and anything else that may help the rehabbers know what symptoms he is presenting..

I have had him since Tuesday. I found him on the road...Momma did not come back in 5 hours.
he weighs about 141 grams.
he is alone.
yes he is in a glass critter cage.
I have seen the video of pneumonia
The clicking is with every breath when he is sleeping but when he is up and active he has no clicking.
The antibiotics are not expired.
