I thought I saw a thread at one point that said a specific brand was best but I can NOT find it now. I'm trying to add yogurt to pinky's diet since she's taking meds atm. What is best, or will any normal yogurt work fine?
thanks!

Stoneyfield Yobaby yogurt is a FULL FAT yogurt (there are not many - most are low or no-fat) sold in tiny 4-packs and is made for human infants. Delish and VERY digestible and easy to find. I like vanilla and banana and I found pear once that my squirrel just LOVED.

I have read that Dannon is a good brand. I think Jackie from Tampa posted that, and it is her recipe if I am not mistaken. (I'm new here)
When I made a new batch of goat milk/cream/yogurt formula today there were little wads of unstirred yogurt down in the bottom of the old batch when I poured it out.
No one told me to STIR it every time before using... LOL, I am such a dunce. So be sure to STIR each use.
Just trying to help,
Hugs

p.s. My squirrel loves this stuff, yummy yum.

If there is a Trader Joe's near you, they have good Greek yogurt that my flyer goes absolutely NUTS for. Any flavor.
That is just my experience :) I have tried all the brands and that was her favorite.

Are you syringe feeding the yogurt or how? I mainly ask because many people have said their squirrels love it. I've only seen pinky eat formula, but she goes completely squirrel bonkers over just that. So much so that she saw me pulling syringes out of the coffee much warming in water and sprinted over to dunk her head in the water probably thinking she was about to take a bath in formula.
I can't imagine any other reaction other than "mmmmmoooooOOOOOOOHHHHHmmmmyGOOOODDDD!!!!! FOOOOOOODDDD! "
no mater what I give her.
She's about 7 weeks old, so she's only just starting to eat solid foods. I'm somewhat afraid that yogurt in a bowl would end up up her nose. Speaking of which... when and how will she learn to drink without drowning herself?

I am new here, so not sure what others are doing, but I mix the yogurt into the formula. I think that is how they are using it, not real sure though cuz again, I'm new.
