Pinky is about 6 weeks old and I'm starting to introduce her to healthy veggies and rodent blocks. At first I was putting it just in the cage on the floor but it gets scattered everywhere. I got the idea to put it into a little bowl, but now she tries to chew on the bowl. I'm not worried about the bowl chipping which I realize would be bad for her, but is that bad for her teeth? I know we'd rather see her chew on the food, but I'm not sure what else to do and thought I'd see if there's anything else I should be doing.

Chewing is normal and they will chew up a plastic bowl in no time. Small pieces of plastic aren't good for babies. Let Pinkie chew on a metal or glass bowl, shouldn't hurt her at all. A bowl keeps the food off the floor (kinda)and away from poop and is easy to clean

The bowl I have for her is porcelain, so I'm sure it's fine then.

Thanks for the answer :)
