I have checked the chart and this is a good veggie to give..never knew it looked like a pumpkin, and has seeds that look like pumpkin seeds:dono
So can I give the seeds too? Do I give them to Skeeter in her veggie bowl or as a treat? Just not sure what to do with it, so for now I peel the skin off and no seeds.
Also, cactus pear?? Can they have the seeds of that? Just trying to give more variety:D

yes and yes..
they can eat the seeds..I do not peel my acorm squash..:thumbsup
and yes to the cactus pear..here in Fl, we call it tuna! {weird, I know}
my sqs love them both!
figs are in season...yummy!

Yes, Tuna fruit, thats where I got the idea to buy some Cactus pear, thanks to milo's mom for jumping on the internet to find out what it was . :thumbsup
Just gave her the squash(peeled, didnt know, I usually peel everything for her) and she is liking it. :D

PS, I peeled everything too when I had one sq...It takes me all day and I still never finish my chores...

Well, Jackie, If i were in your shoes, which I find that highly unlikely, I wouldnt peel things either. You are a squirrel angel. I am just squammy of one :rotfl
