Bad smelling pee!?!?

Two days ago demos pee started smelling very strong and bad. She goes potty right away when stimulated does not seem to hurt her when she goes to the bathroom/have not changed her diet she is still on FV/pee is a yellowish color and she goes in a stream not here and there. What could be the cause of this and what can be done to fix it?

Sounds like a possible UTI with the smelly pee, she will most likely needs to see a vet for some meds unless you already have some amox or cipro on hand and one of the rehabbers can dose it for you.

Yep UTI- fark smelly pee is always a sign of infection:(

That's just lovely, thought it would be something like that. Any1 know where I can get the meds she would need?

That was my first thought too Jackie. If a baby isnt properly hydrated their urine is more concentrated and smells more. Is this babies urine almost clear? If not I would work on hydration first. Stacey

It is clear, maybe that's just how it is to smell? When she was younger (meaning like when she had little to no hair at all) it didn't smell at all.
