I have 4 baby squirrels with mange. I ordered revolution to treat them but I wont have it for about 5 more days. Can I catch mange from these squirrels? It causes them to lose their hair so can the same thing happen to me if I catch it?
Thanks

Mange mites are usually species specific, so squirrels can't give it to dogs or humans and vice versa.

unless it is sarcoptic mange or better known scabies........those go from animal to human fast and are itchy and painful. You would have red line/sore marking on you though and hurt like heck. Make sure you are changing bedding frequently and vacuuming daily to ensure they aren't reinfected:(

I had scabies once... trust me, you'll know if you get it (never been so itchy in my whole life!), but thankfully it's easy to treat :)

You can wash the little ones in Dawn dish soap while you wait for the kitten Revolution. (1 drop per squirrel)
