So I just got a call from the educator at the wild life center. She said I can bring him in and they will run tests on him and if it is paralyzed they well put him under.
I don't know if we can do that, he is the sweeties little guy. Is there anyone on here that has been in this situation that can give me advise or success stories with a paralyzed squirrel.
If i bring him in I fear he is doomed, or I can take him in.
There was a reason, what ever it my be, that my husband found him instead of begin left of dead.. right?
Advise, words of wisdom... anything please.
Thank you

if you are willing, and he is willing..
and you understand the commitment and longevity of the commitment..
there will be hard times...
no vacations as you know them..
but sq love is so deep..really,
at the point where you are now..you only think you know sq love..
it is deep and big, it's fricken life changing and consuming..
nothing else like it..
sqs do not make good pets in general..
however there is a change in handicapped sqs..
a transformation in some that they know and accept human love and the life of a non releasable..
oh it's costly
especially a paralized sq..
there may be future vet visits,
frquent UTIs..
alot of laundry..
ammendmenrts to any store bought cage
it's a tricky treat...
just start reading some of the Non emergency stories..
read about King Rama..
princess ellie..read about sammy and annies and baby rose..
read about meemor and the skuls flyers..
these are people that have adapted their lives around their sqs..
these are normal peeps for the most part..
great stories..
I hope you are that person..
and I hope that your baby can be that sq...
there is alot more to it than what I written,
alot
others will share their chewed furniture, babysitter issues..
I hope to live the rest of my life with an abundance of sqs..
love 'em..
Florida is a legal state..
so it is very do able:thumbsup
