Hello im very new here so forgive me if this is somehow incorectly posted. My cousin gave me an abandoned baby gray squirrel, it looks to be about four weeks old, we have had it for three days, currently it has only pooped once, which was yesterday, I couldnt get it to poop again today, yesterday, the stool was firm and carmelish-brown in color, we are feeding it FOR THE MOMENT kitten milk replacement, we ordered some 20/50 from fox valley, but, even though it's been twenty four hours since we ordered, they have not contacted us back to figure out how we are paying. Is it normal for them to have sporadic pooping? It urinates regularly ( about every other meal time) and the urine is clear, so what's up with this squirrel? Also what's going on with my fox valley order?

Sporadic pooping is not unusual in the beginning, especially if the baby is not used to the formula and not taking in as much as he normally would. Make sure he is hydrated and you'll see things get more regular when he's been on the FV for a few days. I will move this post to a new thread in the Emergency section. :thumbsup
