I found a baby squirrel in a nearby neighborhood. It seemed hurt and in need of care otherwise I would have left it alone. It looks to be about 5-7 weeks old. It's having nose bleeds.
I'm not sure what to do. I have it laying in a bundle of blankets within a clean recycling box that's never been used. I filled a clean ferret feeding bottle with 1 quart of warm water, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 3 teaspoons of sugar. I tried feeding it the water upright in my lap and it didn't really drink.
I've tried calling a few vets but they're all closed at this time and I'm really unsure about what to do.
Please help :(

We have many members in Florida. Can you post the name of your town so people know if they are close enough?

OK, I put up a thread with the town name in it pointing here.
Give him lots of old t-shirts and fleece pieces to burrow in and hide under, Keep him warm. If you have a heating pad, turn it on loo, put a towel over it. and put the container he is in half on and half off the heat.
Do you have a small syringe or eye dropper? A pharmacist will give you some 1cc and 3cc syinges. Warm up the hydration fluid you made and offer it from the syringe or dropper. Warm baby, warm hydration.

Thank you.
I don't have eye-droppers or syringes on hand at the moment.
I just got a good look of his mouth. It seems pretty blood-covered, so I'm not really sure where it's coming from. He sneezes blood occasionally and whimpers a lot.

I have the baby squirrel....... its a GIRL!! --about 6/7 weeks old.
I have hydrated her, cleaned up the bloody nose & mouth and given some Motrin for pain.
It looks like she may have a hip or leg issues from the fall, I will access her more in the morning.
