Can anyone tell me about hydrogen peroxide and the effect it will have on my baby? I posted the cherry seed thread, got that resolved, now I am concerned about the hydrogen peroxide i gave her. I gave her a lot of hydrogen peroxide, I think. 2 full syringes, the ones marked .3, .4 yadayda

This is all I could find so far from older posts about hydrogen peroxide:

"I've used peroxide...just syringe a few CCs at a time until they will cack it up.
Without knowing what type of ipecac it is or the weight and age of the animal I am not comfortable dosing.
The peroxide will cause gas buildup in the tummy which causes the vomiting..not fun"

unless you used high percentage HP, she will be okay...
the brown bottle stuff sold at Walmart and Cvs is low percentage...
you just did not give enough to make her vomit!
