I have some babies I have to tube feed, they are so little. What is the method for turning their weight in grams into CC's.
Thanks,
Kim

Mulitply their weight by 5% (you shoot for 5-7%, but when they are tiny, I stick with just the 5%).

Ahh okay so 45 grams = 2.25 cc's?

I figured :) I do have some squirrels, finally and their eyes are open and they are adorable. I think my little boy is very advanced :) :) He is peeing and pooping on his own and already trying to eat my fingers.
Gawd I love these guys and the Opies too. Thanks to you I'm a tube feeding pro now!

Could not do possies (small ones esp.) any other way!!! lol After feeding Rose at only 12 grams, I am not afraid of anything! lol (Course, in the past I have raised days old pinkie mice....now they are TINY! lol)
Pinkie mice and pinkie flyers-Lord have mercy, tea-tiny. Need a tiny nipple, syringe and a large magnifying glass and nerves of steel!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine that. When I've found Pinkie mice I've fed them to the Opies. Figured it was a fast way to go. Don't get me wrong I love mice, still have my very first rehab animal Flower with me, he is a 6 year old field mouse.
I saw someone on here had a pinky Opie that wasn't even fully formed, I know it didn't make it but she tried. I'm impressed.
