What is the Multidophilus for and is this the right stuff?

I went to Wal*Mart yesterday and they didn't have apples and plums in the Earth's Best Organic baby food, so I bought pumpkin and apple. Any problem with that?

because you have mentioned the probiotic, I am guessing you need gut flora help...
the one you bought is better for GI issues anyways..pumpkin and apple are both used for constipation and diarhea, imagine that!:)

I was just asking, since it was in the recipe posted. So it's not really necessary? I'm going to make these for the wild squirrels I feed. I normally feed them peanuts and almonds. Just trying to experiment to see what else I can give them that's good for them that they will eat. Tried the Wild Bites and Peanut sticks with some success. The Harlan Teklad Rodent Block has been kind of a bust. That's why I wanted to try the Boobal, to make use of them. They don't seem to care for avocados either. Funny thing is a person has a pear tree, and there are pears all over the ground that they chewed on. So I figured I would get some and cut them up into chunks for them to eat. They didn't touch them. These squirrels aren't wild wild. Most will sit right next to me on my porch and eat. They seem more afraid of each other than me.
