He is between two and three weeks old. He has fur around his nose and eyes and some starting on his head. He has a pink belly ut the rest of his body is grayish/brown. We are pretty sure he is a Red squirrel or a mix.

He weighs 38g. and is eating between 1.5-2 ml. every three hours and once during the night

I only rehab flyers, foxers, grey squirrels, bunnies and possums. I have used Four paws nipples for the last eleven years with all size babies. I buy them by the 100 count at www.squirrelstore.com She also has the O ring syringes. Hope this helps. Stacey

Esbliac changed its formula several years ago, so we dont generally use it any more. Goats milk would better, or Fox Valley
I sent you the info on one of your other threads are you clicking to refresh so you can see the answers??

32/40 some people just stay with that one and don't switch some chose to switch, I did the 32/40 until they stopped taking it , I even dunked wheat bread in the formula for them to eat when they wouldnt take a nipple any more, you want them to stay on the formula as long as possible.

Would the nipples from the PetAg nursing bottle work?

They do NOT work on a syringe to the best of my knowledge. Your best bet is to use one of the nipples previously mentioned with the links provided. Personally I use and love the Silicone Mothering Nipples from Henry's Healthy Pets.

The bottle nipples are also known for aspirating babies. The holes are to big and the formula flows to fast, thus causing the baby to inhale the formula while being fed.

dmcnkc, I am going to consolidate your threads because it gets too difficult for people to answer all your questions in so many different forums. I'm sure this way you will get the answers you need. :thumbsup

it is fine but if you want the best for him get Fox Valley at https://store-a9e59.mybigcommerce.com/formulas/ this is what ur baby needs.. but wat u have is fine for a temp solution. or goats mik. but I would not switch what he has already been on until u can get the fox valley. also like everyone said he need hydration also :wave123 :Welcome

How often should a two week old baby squirrel poop?

Rhapsody

A two week old baby squirrel should be going potty (after being stimulated by you) after each feeding....... but if the squirrel is new to you and is just now starting to eat it may take the little one a day or two before it accumulates enough substance in its digestive tract to produce poop.

His bottom teeth are growing in and he now weighs 46 g. He weighed 36 grams a day or two after we found him(4-5days). He is eating 3 cc.every three hours and once during the night and is always very eager to eat. His growing hair is definently showing on his head and tail and when looking very closely you can see it on his back. He squints when exposed to bright sunlight.
