What sort of wild foods should I be feeding my squirrel before release.

What kind of trees do you have in your area??
They like the green pine cones, acorns .........
my suggestion would be to see what the wilds in your area are eating and give them that.

My baby doesn't like human veggies. I have been picking some rose petals and plantain for her and she loves them both. I've tried Mulberry branches but that was a no go. We have Birch trees, Maple trees, I've tried pine cone but it wasn't green. I don't know anyone with an apple tree. Are any pine trees ok for her? She is the fussiest eater. I see on the board what other people feed their little ones, and she snubs her nose to most veggies. It makes me feel like such a bad mom.
