There are 2 babies that i saved the other were dead. I put the in a container open topped about six inches around. i understand that they are about 3 weeks old because of there fur and open eyes, but i don't know how to feed them. Next week the will be old enough for cat food and what not, but they need to survive the week. I CANT GET SPECIAL FORMULAS. Does cow milk work, maybe a little meet juice mixed in help soon please.

D NOT feed them cows milk. Do NOT feed them cat food!

You're clearly a young person surely not out of middle school yet, so you're doing a very good thing for these little animals, you mean well, but you might very well kill them because you simply don't know what to do with them. You did right coming here to ask - we'll help you out:

1) Keep them warm. Give them a towel and make sure they have good air circulation. Keep them away from any pets.

2) Take a photograph and post it here, so we can tell what animal they are. That will decide what sort of care they need.

Please hurry!

:Welcome :wave123 do you have a heating pad that you can place under Half of their container, set on low? monitor them,, you only want it to be warm, barely warm.
You can fill a sock with dry rice and tie it off, use micro wave to heat for 20 seconds, smish it around so there are no hot spots.

Do you have a small syringe or eye droppper?
They need to be warm and hydrated before you can feed them formula..
Are they dehydrated? gently lift their skin bewtween the shoulders, if it relaxes they are okay, if it tents and stays, they need 12-24 hours of oral hydration, never use pedialyte for more than 24 hours. never mix formula with pedialyte.
here is the recipe to home made pedi/hydration fluid
keep in the fridge, never feed cold fluids to babies, always warm it first, just a bit more than your wrist temp.

1 quart warm water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 TEASPOON salt
never tilt them back, go very slow, they may aspirate if too fast or tipped back.
If this happens, gently hold their nose towards the ground, allowing fluids to drain, wipe nose and go slower.

Your membership is not registered yet, so you cannot post pics I don't think... can you take a pic and email it to me?

can you take a pic, not a video? can you hold it?
I am not sure what your little guy is...but It has a long tail...
I wish your mother would allow you to take them inside...
will she let you make the rehydration solution?
I cannot tell , what kind of bedding are they in? is that cedar?
cedar is not advised because it is an oily aromatic wood and can cause rodents and small anim als respitory/breathing issues.
a t shirt is better.:thumbsup
You are awesome to rescue them before a preditor found them or they dehydated in the sun..:bowdown

Do you have any eyedrops at all in the house? Most are sold in a dropper bottle. You will need to dump the contents and wash the bottle out very well, but it will administer milk drop by drop and will work until you can get better equipment.
